Accompanied by a local social leader who grew up in the community, you get special insight into the community’s struggles and achievements, as well as learning about our education and health systems, and enjoying the colorful street art.

This is a tour in a real neighborhood, not a made up show, where you will see and understand how the average Colombian lives.

Guided by a local and a social leader who grew up in the community, you’ll gain unique insight into its struggles and achievements. You’ll also learn about Colombia’s education and healthcare systems while taking in the vibrant street art.

This is a tour through a real neighborhood—not a staged experience—where you’ll see firsthand how everyday Colombians live. We also highlight the crucial role of women in shaping and strengthening the community.

I HIGHLY recommend this tour , if you only have time for one in Medellin , make it this one. I usually don’t like tours so much but this was not your average tour with boring history or touristy spots. We really got to see the other side of the story of Medellin and the history of comuna 4 and the neighborhood resistencia . The story of the locals who built this community was so moving it nearly brought me to tears many times. And Pablo was such an amazing tour guide , you could really feel his passion for his city and it’s story. Do not skip this tour !
